Okay a while ago I conceived of a way to jam two things I love into one tasty package, the first thing being EARLY 60'S BRITPOP eg early Beatles the Rolling Stones first album the Kinks the Animals the Who and to a lesser extent due to their shittiness the Searchers the Turtles the Sweating Bitches etc,
second thing being THE FIRST FIFTY YEARS OF THE CHRISTIAN CHURCH specifically Saint Paul in Rome during the reign of Caligula laying the first generation of the Word DOWN on the kids and cats and whatever
So a play about an aspiring rock and roll trio from 1965 taken back in time by the almighty St Paul to promote his religion through some hard-hitting religious rock on the streets of Rome. HOT!
One: Band Practice - Lucky's Garage, 1965 AD
Two: The Saint Squad - the Training Room, AD not much
Three: St Mark and Mary Magdalene - Christian HQ
Four: The Emperor Caligula - the Emperor's Palace
Five: The Saint Squad vs. The Mithraists - the Marketplace
Six: St Paul gets his eyes back - somewhere on the street
Seven: Final showdown - the Marketplace
Secret track: Jesus is the chisel (and here's the rock)
